- How do I check if a company is running ads?
- Enter its website. We find the company's advertiser accounts on Meta, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest and X, then look for ads that are active now or were shown in the last 7 days, and report the count and the date of the newest ad per platform.
- What counts as running ads?
- Meta and Google mark ads as active, so we use that. TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest and X only show when an ad was last seen; there an ad shown in the last 7 days counts as running.
- Why does a platform say “no account found”?
- We could not tie an advertiser account on that platform to the website. Either the company does not advertise there, or its account links to a different domain. TikTok, Pinterest and X also only cover ads shown in Europe.
- How accurate are the ad counts?
- They are what each platform reports. Google rounds large numbers, and Meta counts each version of an ad separately. Use them to compare activity, not as an exact inventory.
- Can I check many companies at once, for example a lead list?
- Yes, with the API: GET /v1/domains/{domain}/check is the same check at 3 credits per domain and free if no platform could be checked. It works from Clay, n8n or any script, so you can flag which accounts on a list are advertising right now.
- How often is the result updated?
- Each check is live. The free tool keeps a result for up to 6 hours and allows 10 checks per hour. To be told when a competitor starts or stops ads, use a watchlist with webhooks.
