From a domain to advertisers

Resolve a company's domain to its ad accounts on Meta, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest and X, read the scores, and get a combined company profile.

Customers think in brands and domains; ad libraries index pages and advertiser ids. Resolve bridges the two.

Resolve a domain

Shell
curl "https://api.adlibapi.com/v1/advertisers/resolve?domain=nike.com" \
  -H "X-API-Key: $ADLIB_API_KEY"

Each advertiser in the response has:

Field Meaning
id Advertiser id to use with the other endpoints
score Confidence from 0 to 1
match_reason domain (its ads link to the domain), name, history or manual (confirmed by us)
role brand, agency, reseller, partner or unknown
active_ads, total_ads_known Current ads and ads we know of

Use accounts with a score of 0.75 or more for automated work and review lower ones. max_per_platform (default 3, up to 10) returns more candidates per platform; platform limits the platforms.

A resolve costs 10 credits when it finds at least one match, and nothing otherwise.

Company profile

GET /v1/companies/{domain} groups everything into one object: the brand's own accounts, agencies and resellers listed apart, and combined numbers for active ads, countries, formats, launches per week and the longest-running ads.

Shell
curl "https://api.adlibapi.com/v1/companies/nike.com" \
  -H "X-API-Key: $ADLIB_API_KEY"

min_score (default 0.75) sets which accounts count toward the totals; include_related=true adds agency and partner accounts.

Is a company advertising right now?

When you only need a yes or no, GET /v1/domains/{domain}/check is cheaper: 3 credits, with advertising (true, false or null) and per platform the current ads and the latest ad date.

Report a wrong match

If an account does not belong to a domain, or one is missing, report it:

Shell
curl -X POST "https://api.adlibapi.com/v1/advertisers/resolve/reports" \
  -H "X-API-Key: $ADLIB_API_KEY" -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"domain": "nike.com", "advertiser_id": "meta:123", "kind": "wrong_match"}'

Reports are free. We review them, and an accepted fix applies to every customer.
