Know the day a competitor launches a campaign.

Put your competitors on a watchlist once. We check their ads on six platforms and send your Slack, warehouse or app an event when they start, stop or change an ad, with the ad attached.

  • Growth and marketing ops teams
  • Data teams that feed a warehouse
  • Product teams adding alerts to their app

The problem

  • Checking six libraries by hand does not scale

Each platform has its own library, its own search and its own way to hide ended ads. Somebody opens them on Monday, and by Friday it is out of date.

  • The libraries forget

Meta and Google drop ads from view once they stop. Without your own record you cannot answer when a competitor ran an offer or how long it lasted.

  • Scrapers break quietly

In-house scripts stop working when a platform changes its page or blocks the IP, and nobody notices until a report is empty.

How it works with AdLib

  1. 01

Find their ad accounts from the domain

One call returns every account that belongs to a company on each platform, with a confidence score and the evidence.

    curl "https://api.adlibapi.com/v1/advertisers/resolve?domain=competitor.com" \
      -H "X-API-Key: $ADLIB_API_KEY"
  2. 02

Put them on a watchlist with a webhook

We check them on your plan's interval and post one signed advertiser.changes event per advertiser and check, with new, stopped and changed ads.

    curl -X POST https://api.adlibapi.com/v1/watchlists \
      -H "X-API-Key: $ADLIB_API_KEY" -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
      -d '{"name": "Competitors", "advertisers": ["meta:15087023444", "google:AR18378488041124659201"],
           "webhook_url": "https://hooks.example.com/adlib"}'
  3. 03

Pull a weekly digest or the full history

No webhook needed: ask for changes since a date, or for the timeline of when each ad started and stopped.

    curl "https://api.adlibapi.com/v1/advertisers/meta:15087023444/changes?since=2026-10-20" \
      -H "X-API-Key: $ADLIB_API_KEY"

Questions

How do I get alerts when a competitor launches new ads?
Resolve the competitor's domain to its ad accounts, put the accounts on an AdLib watchlist with a webhook URL, and you receive an advertiser.changes event listing new, stopped and changed ads after each check.
Which platforms can I monitor?
Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest and X, through their public ad libraries. TikTok, Pinterest and X publish ads in their EU repositories.
Do I keep ads after the competitor stops them?
Yes. Every ad we see stays in our archive with its first and last shown dates and its creative versions, also after the platform hides it.
Can I send alerts to Slack?
Yes. Point the watchlist webhook at your own endpoint or an automation tool such as n8n, Make or Zapier and forward the event to a Slack channel.
