See a company's growth push before it reports.

When a brand doubles its ad launches, enters a new country or moves budget from Meta to TikTok, the ad libraries show it weeks before any earnings call. We turn that into time series you can model.

  • Investment and equity research teams
  • Market research and consulting firms
  • Strategy teams tracking a category

The problem

  • No time series in the libraries

Libraries show what runs today. To measure change you need the same brands counted the same way every week.

  • Brands are spread over accounts

One company runs dozens of pages and advertiser IDs across platforms and countries. Counting one account misses most of it.

  • Spend is mostly hidden

Outside political ads, platforms don't publish spend. You need proxies and you need to know their limits.

How it works with AdLib

  1. 01

    Group accounts by company

A company profile combines every account of a domain, so you count the company, not one page.

    curl "https://api.adlibapi.com/v1/companies/brand.com" \
      -H "X-API-Key: $ADLIB_API_KEY"
  2. 02

    Weekly launches and active ads

Stats per advertiser include ads first shown per week for the last 12 weeks, active ads, countries and formats. Track a watchlist of brands and the series builds itself.

    curl "https://api.adlibapi.com/v1/advertisers/meta:15087023444/stats" \
      -H "X-API-Key: $ADLIB_API_KEY"
  3. 03

    Model with care

Ad counts, run lengths and EU reach growth are proxies for activity, not spend. Use them as signals next to your other data.

What it costs

A 50-brand panel with weekly stats fits Starter; daily ad-level data for larger panels fits Growth or Pro.

Questions

Can ad library data be used as alternative data?
Yes, as a signal of marketing activity: launches per week, active ads, platform mix and new countries. Platforms don't publish spend for commercial ads, so treat it as a proxy and combine it with other sources.
How far back does the data go?
As far as the platforms show it, plus everything in our archive since we started tracking an advertiser. History cannot be backfilled once a platform hides an ad, so start tracking early.
Can I get the data in bulk?
Use batch jobs for many advertisers or domains at once. For regular bulk delivery into a warehouse, talk to us about Enterprise.
